Stinkin Cute Grooming Salon en San Antonio

I would like to start by saying I love the actual grooms that Stinkin cute has done for my dog, unfortunately I can no longer trust that the owner will treat my dog well. My husband and I have had 3 interactions with the owner. None of them have gone well. Apologies in advance for the long review, but given her response to other reviews and our interactions, I feel it’s necessary. First my husband popped into Stinkin Cute to just check them out and ask a few questions. Then I called and asked if I could bring my dog by just so they take a look at him and I could get an estimate on what it would cost to get him groomed. The meet & greet went well and I scheduled his first groom. The first groom was great. There was some confusion with the schedule and paperwork, but it all worked out. So I scheduled a second groom. I was contacted to change his appt (grooming conference), but it was fine until my husband dropped off our dog. The person who greeted them (who I now know is the owner) was very unpleasant according toto my husband. She told him that she needed our dog’s shot records and he told her that our dog had been there before. He explained that he was just the “doggie uber” but said he would let his wife know. She then complained to my husband that we were undercharged the first time. She made it clear to my husband that she was unhappy we had been under charged. He did not engage and just indicated that we would square up with her after our dog was groomed. Again the groom was great and we scheduled a 3rd groom. I was texted to reschedule the time and I agreed. Then I was texted that the person who did that misunderstood and could I change it back. I agreed and then called the store. I asked to speak to the owner and just wanted to touch base give the previous issues. The call went ok, but the owner was very defensive even though I told her I love the way they are grooming my dog and just wanted to make sure we were all good to go. She said that she would groom him from now on. Again, I loved the way that he was groomed him the first 2 times, but it didn’t matter to me if she wanted to take over. So, 3rd groom. I go in to pick up my dog and he still felt a bit damp to me. I said that he still felt a bit damp and asked if next time he could be dried more. The owner who groomed my dog told me my dog was dry and he was only wet because he had been laying there drooling on himself waiting for me. It was not said with compassion. The conversation devolved. I said that his back and back of his neck felt damp to me and the owner then said it was because she used a lot of product on my dog and that I was accusing her of not doing her job. I tried to make it clear that I was not accusing her of anything, but if he could be dried a bit more next time. She was incredibly rude as I was leaving by repeating ok, goodbye, bye, bye, goodbye. So, groomers are good, scheduling mediocre (hopefully that will get better), but the owner’s tone, compassion and attitude leaves a lot to be desired.

Great grooming, Bad service. I have an older dog, 14 years old, and decided to bring him here instead of Petsmart, thinking he would be better taken of. I was wrong. Upon picking up my dog, the owner complained about how much trouble my dog caused her. She also said that she would not see him in the future. This so called expert groomer can't handle my well-behaved dog, but he always has great compliments for his behavior with the Petsmart groomers. On top of that, we got an extra charge because my dog was too difficult for them. I was nice enough to leave a tip, but I shouldn't have. I regret tipping for bad service. I will not give this place another penny from my pocket.

Love Love how she groomed our little princess! She did an amazing job on our schnauzer. I would recommend them to anyone.

Was searching for a groomer to take our anxious girl. Was so happy we came across Stinkin Cute! They kept us informed and told us how our girl did at the end. Our girl was very happy when we got her. She looked and smelled amazing! Will definitely continue to come here for all our grooming needs!

They did a wonderful wash and deshed on our two corgis. The shampoo they use has a great scent that lasts a lot longer than the store bought dog shampoo we have used in the past. They came out smiling and beautiful. Will definitely be back.

This is a great grooming salon. The owner and people who work there are kind and really do a great job. I highly recommend!

I finally found an amazing grooming spot. 10/10 recommend this place. LADY specifically took care of my boy, and left him so stinkin' cute no pun intended 😄 Thank you so much I will definitely be coming back here!!! It was affordable, professional, clean, and friendly. My dog smells good, looks good, and she cut his hair exactly how I wanted it and better! THANK YOU Lady!!! 🤗

Lady is just wonderful and experienced. Today she spended 6 hours grooming my double coated shedding Great Pyrenees and didn’t change the price stated at the beginning, of course I left her a well deserved good tip! So glad we found her.
